Three Step Application Process

Step 1 - Business Assistance Project Review Form

The Business Assistance Project Review Form enables IDED staff to identify the programs and resources most beneficial to a project. This pre-application process enables staff to become involved with your project proposal(s) at an early development stage, providing individual assistance and guidance to ensure access to programs that best fit your needs.

Step 2 - Business Financial Assistance Application

Following submission of the completed Business Assistance Project Review Form, all applicants invited to apply for financial assistance from the Iowa Department of Economic Development shall complete the Business Financial Assistance Application.

Step 3 - Supporting Documents and Forms

In addition to completion of the Business Financial Assistance Application, applicants must complete one or more of the following forms based upon direction provided by IDED staff regarding the best program(s) to be utilized for the project(s).
