Wage Thresholds

Effective July 1, 2009, wage thresholds for applicants applying for financial assistance from IDED’s business financial assistance programs will be revised based upon new legislation creating the Grow Iowa Values Financial Assistance Program and the High Quality Jobs Program. These wages will also apply to the Economic Development Set-Aside and Enterprise Zone programs. Wage thresholds will be calculated on an annual basis, rather than quarterly, using wage data submitted by Iowa Workforce Development during the most recent four quarters of available data.

Transition

To accommodate pending projects, any Project Review Form received at IDED prior to July 1, 2010, may utilize the 2010 wage thresholds, providing full applications are received within six months.
