The Iowa Department of Economic Development (IDED) is assisting with recovery efforts. 

While Iowa was impacted after the floods, tornadoes, and severe weather of 2008, it is important to know that our spirits are strong, recovery efforts are underway, and that business and community development projects are moving forward. Reporting Disaster-Related Fraud

Members of the public can call the DOJ's Disaster Fraud Hotline to report fraud, waste, abuse or allegations of mismanagement involving disaster relief operations.
